Apple Health to FIT
Move older workouts into Strava, Garmin Connect and intervals.icu. A tool from RallyPath, free to use.
Strava only syncs Apple Health workouts from the last 30 days, and only ones recorded with Apple's Workout app (Strava Help Center). To bring older workouts across, export your data from the Health app, turn it into FIT files with this tool, and upload the files to Strava, Garmin Connect, intervals.icu or any service that accepts FIT.
Badminton on Strava: Strava shows an uploaded badminton workout as "Workout", even though the file says badminton. Open the activity on Strava and change its type to Badminton by hand.
Open your export. Choose export.zip from the Health app, or the export.xml inside it.

Make your FIT files. They come in zip files, sized for the upload you plan.
How it works
- Export from the Health app. On your iPhone, open Health, tap your picture at the top right, then tap Export All Health Data. You get a file called export.zip. Send it to the computer you will use.
- Open the export here. Choose export.zip (or the export.xml inside it). Pick the dates and workout types you want.
- Download your FIT files. Each workout becomes one FIT file with its sport, start time, duration, calories, and heart rate and route where the workout has them.
- Upload them yourself. On the Strava website you can upload up to 25 files at a time, or 15 without a Strava subscription, and each file must be 25 MB or smaller (Strava Help Center). The tool groups your files to fit.
RallyPath does not connect to Strava or any other service. You choose what to upload.
If you play badminton
Want more than a time and a heart-rate line? RallyPath is a training journal for people who play badminton. Log each session, bring in your workouts from Apple Health, rate your skills, write what worked, and see your progress over weeks.
